The town of Slatyfork located in Pocahontas County West Virginia, is a small community at the base of Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Slatyfork is a great base for outdoor adventure for all four seasons. From Snowshoe Mountain skiing, to hiking, local restaurants, cabin and vacation rentals, local attractions and more, Slatyfork puts you in the middle of all the action.
Many that come to the area for other adventures such as skiing don’t know about these highly rated mountain bike trail systems in the state. Using the Elk River Touring Center or Tea Creek Campground as a launching spot, you can get to more than 60 miles of single-track of riding.
