Town of Hico WV

Hico is located at the junction of U.S. Route 19 and U.S. Route 60 7 miles (11 km) northeast of Fayetteville West Virginia. There are not a lot of people that live here, but is known for the whitewater rafting in West Virginia. Some say the community was named after a variety of tobacco called hico. Many visitors who are outdoor enthusiasts stay at one of the many cabin rentals in Hico near the river.
