Meadows of Dan is located in Patrick county in the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains, and is directly accessed by the Blue Ridge Parkway. There is shopping, classic old homes, and local restaurants. The town is 20 miles East of Floyd and 14 miles Northwest of Stuart, VA.
History of Meadows of Dan VA
The community, Meadows of Dan is right up the road after the Mabry Mill Blue Ridge Parkway attraction in Virginia at milepost 176. The community gets its name from the beautiful meadows that flows through the area. Meadows of Dan is also located on the Crooked Road Music Heritage Trail and nearby to the Rocky Knob Visitor center on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
