The town of Wise is located in Wise County in the Southwest Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains. The town of Wise has created an exciting ATV trail destination The OHV system is a multi-use trail system and is 60 miles long beginning in the adjacent town of Saint Paul. History of Wise VA
The town of Wise was originally called Gladeville in 1874 and changed to Wise in 1924. Wise is named after, Henry A. Wise, the last governor of Virginia before the Civil War.
