Pleasant Creek Wildlife Management Area is located near Philippi, West Virginia in Barbour and Taylor counties. Located on 3,030 acres land that varies from wetlands to steeply forested woodlands, the Pleasant Creek WMA rises to an elevation of 1,600 feet.
Location: Barbour andTaylor counties
Along U.S. Routes 119 and 250, six miles north of Philippi and nine miles south of Grafton.
Size: 3,030 acres
Terrain: varies from wetland to mixed hardwood forest, slopes are moderately steep rising to 1,600 feet in elevation
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, waterfowl
